Company History

GreenGen Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was established on August 7, 2024, by a group of researchers from Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC), specializing in biotechnology and naturally derived microorganisms.

Driven by the vision of applying scientific knowledge to solve environmental problems sustainably, our research team is supported by VISUP Co., Ltd. a holding company under the management of VISTEC that plays a pivotal role in promoting research into commercial applications. This collaboration enabled us to spin off as a deep-tech startup: GreenGen Biotechnology Co., Ltd.

Our inspiration

Comes from the massive volumes of organic waste that are dumped into landfills everyday. It is an environmental issue that silently exists in everyone’s daily life yet often goes unnoticed. We asked ourselves, "What can we do as researchers?" Our answer was to leverage our microbial expertise to formulate a specialized microorganisms capable of efficiently breaking down organic waste and to develop technologies that turn this waste into valuable resources.

GreenGen Biodigester

A high-efficiency food waste digestion system that transforms organic waste into clean energy and bio-based plant nutrients through selective natural microorganisms, specially developed for optimal food waste decomposition.

BioVis

A 100% organic plant nutrients developed from the digestion process of the GreenGen Biodigester, further refined through biological processes and quality control. BioVis is rich in more than nine essential plant nutrients and helps promote healthy plant growth while reducing chemical usage. The BioVis production process is certified under organic agriculture standards by the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM).
