On 18 June 2026, GreenGen Biotechnology Co., Ltd. participated in a waste separation training activity under the Community Waste Management Project for Fiscal Year 2026, organized by the Public Health and Environment Division of Pluak Daeng Municipality, Rayong Province. The activity aimed to enhance public understanding of proper waste separation and waste management practices among local residents.
The event provided knowledge on various topics, including waste classification, household waste reduction, waste reutilization, and environmental awareness, with the goal of reducing waste generation and creating a cleaner and more livable community.

During the event, GreenGen introduced practical approaches for managing different types of waste and maximizing resource utilization, ranging from recycling plastic and paper to managing food waste, which represents one of the largest waste streams generated in households and communities.
Food waste can be managed through various methods, such as animal feed production and composting. Another approach presented by GreenGen was the GreenGen Biodigester an innovative technology that utilizes naturally occurring microorganisms to break down food waste and convert it into biogas and plant nutrients. This process helps reduce waste volumes, lower greenhouse gas emissions, and create additional value from waste resources in line with the Circular Economy concept.
Currently, GreenGen has collaborated with WHA Group to install food waste management systems at three locations in Pluak Daeng: an Pluak Daeng School, Pluak Daeng Hospital, and the Pluak Daeng Special Education Center. These projects support sustainable organic waste management at the community level.

As part of the activity, plant nutrients produced through the food waste digestion process at the Pluak Daeng Special Education Center
were distributed to participants, providing a tangible example of how waste can be transformed into valuable resources and reused beneficially.
GreenGen believes that building knowledge and awareness of waste management at the source is a key foundation for reducing waste generation, promoting efficient resource utilization, and driving communities toward long-term sustainability. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Pluak Daeng Municipality and all participants for their interest and active engagement in this activity. GreenGen remains committed to supporting sustainable waste management initiatives and fostering environmentally friendly communities for the future.
