On 23–24 July 2026, GreenGen Biotechnology Co., Ltd. participated in the Knowledge & Experience Expo “Rayong Zero Food Waste 2026" at the front plaza of Central Rayong Shopping Center.
GreenGen showcased its GreenGen Biodigester, a food waste management system driven by biotechnology, at the WHA Group booth under the WeCYCLE project. This environmental collaboration aims to promote efficient waste management and resource utilization in line with the Circular Economy concept and greenhouse gas reduction, supporting Rayong’s transition toward a sustainable low-carbon society.

The event featured more than 20 environmental partner booths, waste separation learning activities, environmental workshops, demonstrations of prototype organic waste collection vehicles, and panel discussions on food waste management and low-carbon development.
GreenGen Biodigester: Turning Food Waste into Valuable Resources
During the exhibition, GreenGen provided information on sustainable food waste management and introduced the operation of the GreenGen Biodigester an innovation developed from microorganisms capable of efficiently breaking down food waste.
This technology helps:
- Reduce food waste at the source
- Reduce transportation and disposal costs and impacts
- Reduce greenhouse gas emissions from organic waste
- Convert food waste into biogas and plant nutrients
This approach supports the principles of the Circular Economy concept. Which focuses on maximizing resource value and minimizing waste sent for final disposal.

Special Lecture on Food Waste Management Innovation
Another highlight of the event was the special lecture “Innovation in Food Waste Management through Biotechnology” delivered by Associate Professor Dr. Thanyaporn Wongnate School of Biomolecular Science and Engineering, Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC), and Chief Executive Officer of GreenGen Biotechnology Co., Ltd.
The lecture presented innovative biotechnology-based approaches to food waste management that enhance resource value and support sustainable environmental development. It also demonstrated how scientific research and innovation can be translated into practical solutions for communities and industry.

Collaboration for Sustainable Food Waste Management
GreenGen’s participation in this event reflects the collaboration among GreenGen, VISTEC and WHA Group under the WeCYCLE Project, which promotes efficient food waste management and resource utilization through biotechnology applications for communities and organizations.
GreenGen believes that sustainable food waste management begins with waste separation at the source, public awareness, and the adoption of appropriate technologies that can transform waste into valuable resources.
GreenGen Biotechnology Co., Ltd. would like to express its sincere appreciation to WHA Group and the WeCYCLE project for the opportunity to showcase GreenGen’s innovations at this event, as well as to the event organizers and all visitors who visited the booth throughout the exhibition. The company remains committed to supporting sustainable food waste management and contributing to a more sustainable future for Rayong and Thailand.
